a productivity-inducing website

watashi shared this great website, 43things, which can help one focus on accomplishing important goals.

plus, you can share the "agony" with others who equally need/want motivation.

It's great, isn't it? It's addictive, too. I check several times a day to see if I've received more cheers. Every time you receive cheers you get more cheers of your own to pass out. Definitely add entries to your different goals. It helps draw people to your page and thus give you cheers :)

last night, i started out with five cheers but a few hours later had 15. wasn't sure if others gave them to me or i received them b/c of updating my goal list.

it's nelanj, if you're curious.

you'll see all the things we've talked about ... focusing, for one.

Off subject .. did I read somewhere that you use movable type??

The hope is to use movable type ... but i'm not sure how to go about it ... and am not up to figuring it out yet.

I downloaded and installed the software, but got stuck at this point. Need to look at a tutorial. There's so much stuff in that folder, I wouldn't know where to begin.

Are you using it? Or thinking about it?

I went ahead and added to my features at my hosting service so I'm going to give it my best shot.

.. now reading your comment has me worried!

What do you use for this page?

Xjournal, a client for macs.

just started using a client not too long ago ... so i'm not saavy at whipping up entries with images, wrapping text ... other stuff i can do in a snap in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and QuarkXpress.

assuming this is gracegiver:

don't be worried.

looking at how you utilize your own lj client, i'm sure you'll be able to handle moveable type.

the one thing: i wonder if one also needs typepad? i didn't investigate MT fully before downloading it. It seems like a really advanced "blog" client software.

What's your take on it?
