Minor typo in the third to last paragraph: "onlywire received gotten kudos from wired among other sites."

I've been using delicious for a long time (I even started writing a command-line posting program for it, since I'm only using firefox maybe half the time), but now my account's bookmarks say a bit too much about me, and I feel a little weird about sharing it.

It was cool to look at the other people who had bookmarked my Ethiopian cooking websites and realize they'd found several I hadn't, though.

Thanks for citing that "typo" catch.

Sure on sharing your bookmarks. I don't share many of my own. But then there are those that seem benign enough to share, let alone being good places to share.

peace.

I use an extension that replaces my bookmarks in Firefox with the ones stored on del.icio.us.

I use bookmarks marked as "do not share" for some of them though.

Tags are a much faster way to search and navigate bookmarks in a browser.

Interesting. A link that replaces your Firefox bookmarks so they are stored in del.icio.us.

When I first opened my account with del.icio.us, I imported all my browser-saved bookmarks. Didn't know you could continue this trend. ... it would be nice to integrate those from other browsers.

Like I mention to skcot, some of my bookmarks aren's shared, but many are. It really depends.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
