oh, the bliss of online shopping

o.k., i broke down and found someone selling "...The Half-Blood Prince" for $10 on ebay and i won the danged bid. plus, shipping costs that should amount to what the book is worth here OR less if sent via USPS book rate.

danged bid, you ask?

yes. 'cause it's been since 2002 since i've bid on anything, hence won anything.

my email address has changed thanks to @home, attbi and comcast, plus you all know ebay has had its troubles with scams.

ugh.

paypal is being just as irritating ...

and now i must wait.

ok, i'm partially to blame ... i have a tendency to try to update such accounts when i'm really tired. do everything from rote and end up not paying attention, thus giving them info. over and over again that is not what they are asking for.

blah. i need to drop all this now, and head to bed. work tomorrow ... through saturday. just give me a cot under my desk.

double blah.

oh geez. I've just been through this today with southwest airlines and old email/isp business. I still don't think I've got it right. I have a southwest account I've never used, but can't log into, and so can't get or set a new password because the email I signed up with doesn't exist now.
