Are you getting sick of my tax updates?

O.K.

I can’t fathom it myself, but thanks to my husband, not only did we get those papers copied tonight after I got off work, but we also sent the danged lot to my mom’s accountant!

What an immense relief.

It’s not a perfect return. We’re going to have to do an ammendment. That’s better than receiving a penalty (which still could happen … look at today’s date).

Now I can work on my taxes!!

Piece o’ cake.

yea! yippee!

I forgot to thank FedEx for buying Kinko's ... that was the secret ... and Mr. F was on top of the idea.

I'm so afraid to spend my mother's money that I haven't allotted for specific purposes (ie., postage/mailing).

But this joint task tackle was well worth spending the money then and not heading back home and going through my regular potocol ... blah, blah.

When I was answering tax questions for the IRS, people would sometimes call with just your predicament. We always told them to go ahead and get it in. No problem amending later.

If it weren't for my mother's accountant, a really decent, kind and genuine guy, I never would have thought about the concept of "amending."

Then again, I've never gotten my own taxes in past April 15 ... until this year.

It's a really comforting solution ... and motivating to get it done.
