It's the little things ...

Mr. F, who is not over weight or a large person in stature, was casually sitting in our bent wood rocker when the darned sit fell through. Mr. F didn't do anything unusal to make this happen. The rocker appeared to be in good condition. Just one of those things.

I'm actually glad it happened. I've been wanting to get rid of that rocker since we now have three rocking chairs ... a mission-style one (a friend gave me for free and I had restored) and the one from my father's childhood bedroom set.

:)

how embarrassing. I'd be mortified, even if I were home alone.

but yay for broken furniture that allows you to buy what you really want!

We don't need to buy any more chairs.
We have a ton already ... in all forms!

We're trying to declutter. This is a great one to get outta the house!

I don't know if Mr. F was embarrassed. He might have been. But it wouldn't have embarrassed me. I guess I took that part for granted. I was more concerned whether he was all right. He was because he was able to get up quickly. It was most shocking, I'm sure.
