the problem with mornings

typically, mr. f and i are not morning people.
we are proud -- at least i am -- we are getting up between 9 and 10 a.m. most mornings.
we've even gotten up at 8 a.m. a few times.

most people consider this sleeping in.
eh, it fits with my former work schedule.

so tomorrow, mr. f's brother wants to wake us up at 6:30 a.m.
to take us down to this aviary reserve south of here.
there's a special tour/event with plenty of bird watching time.
there is promise of several rare birds here, ones we won't find elsewhere.

the problem:
i hate getting up early.
i'll do it to catch a plane or train ... you can sleep on those.
but to get up to see birds or pretty much any other activity,
i'd rather skip.

i know it's terrible,
but sleep is my thing.
if i don't get enough,
i feel like shit the rest of the day.
(was i supposed to *** out that four-letter "s" word?)
plus, we're heading to san antonio tomorrow.
it's four hours north of us. someone needs to be awake.
i know mr. f will want to sleep in the car.
